3RD TERM PROJECT

For this last term I would like you to create a visual poster about your life at IES HONORI GARCIA. Six years have gone by since you started secondary school and that journey is about to finish. You can know create a personal memory poster and share it with all of us. You are going to use a tool called Glogster, which creates multimedia posters that can include text, images and video.
Have a look at the following tutorial and go back to it as often as needed.

You have to register to be able to start working, remember your nickname and password!!! Click on the image.

These are some ideas for your glogsters:
- choose a song, a film or a book that you identify with your life at school.
- mention some school activities, classroom experiences, trips, journeys .....
- mention a dramatic or a funny event, a special moment ??
- think about your family, friends, teachers ... and mention a person who has been especially relevant in your school life.
- mention aspects of your life or personality that have changed.
- mention your plans for the future or your expectations.
- choose a quote you would like to be your motto in the future.
..... and probably some of your own ideas. Start doing some thinking and planning now!!
5th of May will be the deadline, but if you are able to do it before, please show it to me for checking.
Good luck!

6th MARCH: WORLD BOOK DAY

World Book Day was designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. Its purpose is to encourage reading.
Some of you are still reluctant to start reading. There is no need to mention again all the benefits you get from reading. Keep in mind that according to recent studies, reading for pleasure is more important to a child's educational achievement than their family's wealth or social class.
