SMILE. IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!

Exams are really close, so don't delay your studying. This is the newspaper article for the weekend.

And practice some speaking and pronunciation singing along.

WRITING ABOUT BULLYING

This is going to be your written exam for this term. Everyone has the right to feel safe coming to school, but, unfortunately, this is not always the case. Some students are bullied and most of the times, we watch and do nothing. Read the mind map, the infographics and watch the videos. Think carefully and write an essay about how this problem could be avoided or dealt with (about 120 words). You have to give it to me before the class ends. Good luck!

IT'S FRIDAY!! ENJOY THE WEEKEND!!!!

Most Spanish newspapers and TV news programmes have reported on this article from The New York Times suggesting we should change our time zone. Read the article and draw your own conclusions. Worthwhile reading!
Next, you can watch this video which, in my opinion, contains good thinking and may brighten your day. As the young kid says, remember you are awesome!!!
If you need, activate the subtitles and don't worry about grammar, focus on the listening.

Pep talk:a talk during which someone encourages you to do something better or work harder.

And this is the song of the week.

This is not the kind of English we find in our textbooks, but we hear it when we watch films or series, or when we travel to UK. I will hand you the photocopies with the exercises for you to do and we will correct them in class tomorrow. Make sure you do them and bring them to class.
