Do you think you tube is a powerful tool in today's society?

    Nowadays YouTube has become an essential webpage in our life because if we want to watch a video, we are sure it will be uploaded there. However, it has some drawbacks that make it a bit controversial.

     On the one hand, YouTube is very powerful because one video can be watched by millions of people everywhere and at any time. We all know videos that have become symbols of revolutions and political parties or have just shown us an important recent event.

       On the other hand, the webpage can be used by, for example, radical terrorist groups to intimidate the population and attract new followers. Teenagers can also use Youtube to bully their classmates recording offensive videos.

     In conclusion, it is obvious YouTube has a big power in society but it is important to use it properly and not to believe everything we see in the videos either because they can be modified or manipulated.

     As it is known, the world is constantly changing in order to improve and most of the times, technology becomes essential for it. In fact, everything related to new technologies is becoming more popular in our daily activities, no matter what your age is.

     The Internet has started a revolution and considering the most visited websites, YouTube is on top. It is a site where you can upload your own videos and i think that is one of the reasons why it is so popular.In addition and from my point of view YouTube is also a very useful website because you can listen to any song released or any movie without paying.

     What is more important, people can show images of unfair situations, problems , abuses ..... to let others know about them and try to stop them if they are happening these days. In spite of all this, we should be aware not everything on the Internet is true because it is extremely easy to manipulate a video.

     All in all, using this kind of websites carefully is fantastic as you can learn as well as be entertained, but, as i said before, with responsibility.
