HAVE A NICE WEEKEND.

This week's music video is a special one. Special, because the band that sings the song is from our own town. And even more special, because one of the members, the guitarist, is a teacher in our school. In case you don't recognize him, his name is Torrico. Some of you may know him, but you didn't know the band. Anyway, look for him in the school next week and tell him you liked the song!!!
So, here's an occasion to listen to them and see if you like them.
The song is from the album Songs form a Room and it's called (Leaving) the cross. And the band is called The Last Band.
Enjoy the video, the song and the group.

Here below you can follow the lyrics.

THE CROSS, by The Last Band.
From the album
Songs from a Room, 2009.

Heaven in hell, not for a while.
Money to spend, or to feel alive.
Lookin’ at her, it’s how I’m wasting my time.
Writin’ a song, spitting my heart.
Thousands of things, it’s all that we have.
Fire in pockets, fear in the eyes.
Lookin’ at her, it’s how I’m wasting my time.
They know, too, yeah! They know, too.
In this hell, how I miss you, where living is not for all.
Maybe in heaven it’s easier to forget you. (bis)
I’ll go away. (bis)
Heaven in hell, not for a while.
Leaving this cross, what’s on my mind.
In this hell, how I miss you, where living is not for all.
Maybe in heaven it’s easier to forget you.
In this hell, how I miss you, where living is not for all.
Maybe in heaven it’s easier not to love you.
I’ll go away. (bis)
